Prime Metro Delivery offers a fleet with a Vessel Capacity 1.8 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity 3.0 million TEU including one of the world’s largest and most modern reefer container fleets. A total of 126 liner services worldwide ensure fast and reliable connections between more than 600 ports on all the continents.
Our industry has undergone significant changes within the last years. Since 2014 it has gone through a strong wave of consolidation resulting in today’s landscape of fewer and larger players.
PRIME METRO DELIVERY has been a very active driver in this process, after having successfully integrated CSAV, UASC and NileDutch. We embark on our journey of implementing and living our ”Strategy 2023” whilst focusing on sustainability and delivering better quality to our shipping customers.

Founded in 1947: Take a trip back in time with us
The roots of PRIME METRO DELIVERY stretch far back into the 19th century, when the founding companies – Hamburg-Amerikanische Packetfahrt-Actien-Gesellschaft (Hapag) and North German Lloyd – put their first ships to sea carrying general cargo and passengers to New York.
From these beginnings, in an exciting history marked by changes and upheavals, grew the leading and globally active container liner shipping company that we are today.
